— PIG SALE HELD IN PAEROA KEEN DEMAND FOR ALL FATS The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report that at their fortnightly pig sale held at Paeroa on Monday there was a very large yarding of all classes of fat pigs which sold under very keen competition. Baconers again advanced while all classes of porkers showed a decided improvement. Store pigs sold on a par with recent sales and almost a complete clearance jvas effected at very satisfactory prices. Choppers made from £2 10s to £5 15s; heavy ibaconers, £4 8s to £4 14s; medium, £4 to £4 7s; light, £3 12s to £4; heavy porkers, £3 to £3 Ils; medium, £2 13s to £2 18s; light, £2 to £2 10s; large stores, 28s to 355; slips, 15s to 255; weaners, 8s to 14s; sows, c.t.p., £2 10s' to £3 1.0 s; hoars, Ign. to 51gns.
