LICENSING ELECTION HAURAKI COMMITTEE RESULTS The final result of the election of the Hauraki Licensing Committee is announced by the returning officer at Morrinsville, Mr W. T. Rudman, as follows:— Successful Votes D. Gulland' - —- 319 B. Chapman - - — 250 G. Rodgers — — 228 W. Hetherington _ 220 W. Morrice — — 215 Unsuccessful R. G. Pulham .... .... .... 212 A. J. T. Bourne -..— 188 In 14 booths a total of 443 votes was recorded, also 13 absentee and postal votes, out of an effective roll of about 10,000 electors. There were three informal votes. Of the new committee Messrs Chapman, Hetherington and Morrice are of Morrinsville and Messrs Gulland and Rodgers from Pokeno. There are six licensed houses in the district controlled by the licensing committee.
