CHARGE OF THEFT
MAN BEFORE PAEROA COURT SALE OF WIRELESS SET Charged with stealing a wireless set valued at £lO from some person unknown, Henry Roydon Moore, whose address was described by the police as various parts of New Zealand was remanded to Hamilton by Mr J. M. Craig, J.P., in the Paeroa Court on Tuesday morning. Constable J. L. Brown stated that Moore had been arrested in Paeroa on Monday afternoon as the result of information received from a radio dealer to whom Moore had tried to sell the set. Moore had not been able to give a satisfactory explanation as to where he had got the set. In asking for a remand to Hamilton, Constable Brown said that the wireless had come from Hamilton and the Hamilton police would be handling the case.
