A RELIGIOUS THOUGHT
FOLLOWING CHRIST “ Among definitions of a Christian, it is needful to remember the definition emphasised by the New Testament: a Christian is one who tries to follow Christ. This is a truth well understood by popular feeling and enshrined in our common speech. When we say of a man that he is “a real Christian” we do not mean that he attends church regularly, that his faith is orthodox, but that he reproduces, in an exceptional measure, the spirit of Jesus in his life.” (Rev. R. W. Matthews, Dean of St. Paul’s.)
