ACCIDENT AT TURUA MR R. BAKER INJURED When a slasher which he was carrying slipped suddenly, Mr R. Baker of Huirau road, Turua, received a very severe cut on the back of his right hand. Mr Baker was carrying a bundle of tools on his shoulder out to his car when the slasher which was particularly sharp, slipped and inflicted a very deep gash on the back of Mr Baker’s right hand. At present concern is felt whether Mr Baker will lose the thumb off his hand.
