A letter of sympathy was forwarded to Mr Mclntosh (one of the committee) on account of recent bereavements. The proposed new rules of the 'Dominion Federation of Veterinary Services were discussed. The club’s delegates, Mr J. Spence (president)' and Mr C. ( H. Waite, were instructed to vote as they deemed best on the various points arising at the federation meeting. It was reported that the new veterinary surgeon appointed by the club is a man highly recommended by the principal of the university at which he graduated several years ago. He is a married man and is expected to arrive from Canada in the very near future. The provision of a house has been under discussion. A small committee was appointed to deal with this.
