PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE STATEMENT FOR JANUARY Estates to the value of £416,720 were reported' and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during* the month of January, 1944. The total value of estates and 1 funds under administration by the Public Trustee on March 31, 1943, was £66,777,793, and the new business for the ten months ended January 31 was £5,239,667. Grants of administration made by the court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 190 for the month. During the month 540 new wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody, and 332 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held! in the Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 124,688.
