NETHERTON INSTITUTE
AN 'ENJOYABLE AFTERNOON MRS C. MALCOLM ENTERTAINS The Netherton Women’s Institute met at the home of Mrs C. W. Malcolm on Friday afternoon to meet Mrs Sawer A.D.F.W.1., who paid a visit to the Netherton ibranth. Miss Paul, president of the Ngatea Women’s Institute, was also present. Mrs Malcolm hadi the lawn tastefully arranged with tables and Women’s Institute covers and a most enjoyable afternoon was spent. Mrs A. F. Maude, president of the Netherton Women’s Institute opened the meeting with the Institute Prayer. After presenting Mrs Sawer and I Miss Paul with shoulder sprays she ' introduced Mrs Sawer to all present. After giving a talk on institute business and answering questions, Mrs Sawer gave a most interesting talk on diet, also' a talk on animal life at the zoo which was most interesting. Mrs Maude thanked Mrs Sawer for her address, Miss Paul for bringing her to Netherton and Mrs Malcolm for her hospitality. A dainty afternoon tea brought the meeting to a close.
