MUSTY VACUUM FLASKS i USE VINEGAR WHEN WASHING On these warm, cloudless days of summer, some of the luckier of us are thinking of holidays, vacuum flasks are being brought out again. , If you have not used yours for a long time you may find that it has a decidedly musty odour about it. Here’s a way of making it sweet smelling and clean again. To some hot, soapy water add a little vinegar and then wash it the usual way. Next time you put it away for a period, remember not to cork it, else it will develop that musty smell again.
