EXCELLENT MUSIC

SUCCESSFUL NGATEA DANCE I PATRIOTIC FUNDS ASSISTED Excellent music which was provided by Mr and Mrs Herb, Walker of Thames and the combination of two, Paeroa players, Mi’ George Jennings and Mr Len. Vercoe, with Mr Bert Kerby at the drums, drew much favourable comment from the crowd of dancers which supported the monthly patriotic dance held in Ngatea on Wednesday night. Miss ;P, Johnson assisted by Mr Bob Mathews on the drums, played an extra. A good supper was handed round by committee members and the usual Monte Carlo waltz competition was one of the most crowded dances of the evening, wipners proving to ibe Miss B. Beck and Miss D.
