Thames Butchers Closed Saturday A decision to close shops on Saturday mornings, beginning from April 1, has been made at a meeting of the Master Butchers’ Association of Thames. Butchers’ shops in Thames as from March 31 will thus close at 9 p.m. on Fridays for the week, because of circumstances brought about by meat rationing.
