LABOUR PARTY

MR J. THORN’S CAMPAIGN SPEAKING ON THE PENINSULA During the past week Mr James Thorn, Labour Party candidate for Thames, has addressed meetings in Karangahake, Waihi Beach, Waitawheta, Waimata, Tirohia, Komata, Mangaiti, Whangamata, Wharekawa, Tairua and Hikuai. Except when weather conditions were unfavourable, the attendances at these meetings have been excellent, and Mr Thorn’s reception has been most friendly. In the present week Mr Thorn’s campaign will take him to districts north of Coromandel, and to Mercury Bay and Coroglen.
