21ST. BIRTHDAY
MISS C. HODGSON CELEBRATES PARTY HELD AT NGATEA Twenty-first birthdays are certainly milestones, and the party given by Mr and Mrs R. B. Hodgson at their home in Ngatea on Saturday night, for their elder daughter Chris.; was a very cheery and worthy celebration. Dancing was enjoyed to saxophone music supplied by Mr C. Clark of Patetonga, and several games were played. After a delicious supper, Mr C. McIndoe (Kaihere), proposed' the toast to the guest of honour and Mr Jim Hodgson proposed the toast to absent friends. Miss Hodgson was the recipient of many, lovely gifts. At the conclusion of the evening Mr Terry O’Donnell called for a vote of thanks to Mr and Mrs Hodgson, which was heartily responded to. Among the guests were:— Miss Chris. Hodgson, Mrs C.
