Badges For Invalided Soldiers

A reply to a suggestion that the invalided persons’ badges, issued to discharged servicemen of the present war, should be forwarded to the men without their having to apply to Base Records was received by the executive of the Auckland R.S.A. at a recent meeting from the Dominion executive. Base records had advised that it was unable to adopt the principle, owing to the very high proportion of returned communications as the result of soldiers not being resident at the addresses recorded.
