MISS V. PRATT HONOURED AMBULANCE FAREWELL Last Thursday evening the members of the Ladies’ Division of the 'St. John Ambulance after the completion of their first aid examination gathered to bid farewell to Miss V. Pratt who is leaving shortly to join the W.A.A.F. In a happy little speech Mrs E. L. Shaw, Lady Superintendent, on behalf of the Ladies’ Division, asked Miss Pratt to accept a leather writing case and wished her “happy landings.” Miss Pratt suitably replied and the gathering closed with three hearty cheers for the guest of honour. A delicious supper was served, the table being decorated with four tri-

angular bandages. Among those present were:—Mrs Shaw (Lady Supt.), Mr B. Gwilliam (Cadet Supt.), Mesdames Brigham, Costello. W. J. Pone, Misses M. Carip’w. V. Lar we, Homing, Pratt, M. O’Neill, A. Barnett, Finnel.
