COLLECTION IN PAEROA HOUSE-TO-HOUSE CANVASS DRIVE SATURDAY, SEPT., 11 fr— A house-to-house collection of waste paper and rubber will be made in Paeroa on Saturday, September 11 and an appeal is made to every householder to cooperate by having all the old paper and rubber available ready for the collectors when they call The members of the Paeroa-Hauraki Returned Services Association have offered to organise the collection and together with a number of school boys will call at every house in Paeroa on the day fixed Please have your waste paper and rubber ready.

The Simons proprietary Ltd.,, the Paeroa Borough Council and the Ohinemuri County 'Council have offered their trucks for the collection which will commence at 9 a.m. and the following routes will be followed. First trip.—Starting from the borough boundary on Thames road the collectors will proceed via Raroa road to Ainslie road through the Railway Settlement, Aorangi road, Arney, street, Bennett street, Uahum street, Lewis street, Onslow road. Wood street and Russell street to Normanby road. The collection will then proceed along Normanby road, up Thorpe street to Weed street and then via

Victoria street back to Normanby road to the depot at the Ohinemuri County Council yards. The collectors, men and boys, will calf at the various houses along this route as well as houses in streets branching off from the route, bringing the material collected to the road where it will be picked up hy the trucks. Second trip.—From the Ohinemuri County Council yards down Hall street, along Willoughby street, to Arney street, thence to King street, to Corbett street, William street, back to the depot. Third trip.—From the depot along Junction street to William street, through the subway along Railway street, Junction Road to Opatito road, through George street, back to Railway street, to Dearie street, Puke road, Flora street, Dulcie street, to Coronation road and -hen back to the depot. Fourth trip.—From the depot down Belmont road to Taylor’s Avenue to Bush street, Hall street, down Kennedy street, Miller Avenue, Rye Lane to Station road and then back to the depot.
