POOR OYSTER SEASON
.. WORST FOR MANY YEARS HIGH WINDS AND BIG SEAS Bluff oystermen state that the present season is the worst for many years, says the Southland Times. The trawlers have been out only half a day during the last fortnight and only four days so far this month. The trawlers have been unable to operate because of high winds and The fleet was out all day last Friday, and good catches were made.
