MORRINSVILLE SALE
STORE LAMBS IN DEMAND At the Morrinsville Stock Sale conducted by the ‘Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., on Friday, ,a medium yarding of fat sheep with prices fully equal to last week’s rates. Good competition was obtained for a medium yarding of store lambs, prices being in advance of recent sales. A firm demand existed for a medium entry of beef, values being fully up to recent sales. A good yarding of boner cows also realised satisfactory prices. A full yarding of yearling Jersey heifers eased slightly in values, but well-grown good quality sorts were in demand. A smaller yarding of store cattle including a line of grown, bullocks from Hawke’s Bay. Competition was keen, and prices were slightly in advance of late rates.
