WOMEN’S GUILD

On Tuesday, August 17, the monthly meeting of the Turua Anglican Women’s Guild was held in the school room, Turua. Mrs H. H. Hicks presided over a good attendance. After the business was finished the remainder of the time was spent in a ' social afternoon and bring and buy,

which was very successful and jolly. Competitions were won by Rev. R. Dobson, Mrs W. Maunder, Mrs Treadaway, Mrs C. Robertson and Mrs Green. Community singing concluded the afternoon with Mrs J. Thrupp as pianist.
