NOTICE OF MOTION

CHANGE MEETING DATE THAMES VALLEY DAIRY DEFINITION OF DISTRICT .A notice of motion to change the date of the end of the year of the Te Aroha-Thames Valley Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, to May 31 instead of June 30, was brought forward by Mr J. J. Shallue at the annual meeting of shareholders of the company. Mr J. J. Shallue said that the small number attending the meeting made the reason for the motion obvious. August was one of the farmer s busiest months. If the motion was carried it would 'be possible to have the meeting in July. Mr D. Courtney (the chairman) -said that it would make no difference as far as company administration went other than that the first balance sheet after the change would be for 11 instead of 12 months. The motion was carried. The following notice of motion brought forward by the chairman, was then carried: — “ That Article 68 of the Company’s Articles of Association be altered by deleting 'District No. 7 shall comprise Waihi, Athenree, Katikati and Wal- - Districts’ and substituting ‘District No. 7 shall comprise Waihi. Athenree, Katikati, Waikino and Whangamata Districts.’” Mr Courtney explained that there were some suppliers from Whangamata who were not officially represented on the directorate as the position stood. The motion overcame this position. '
