SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT “WEKA” TEAM WINS FINAL A rugby football, seven-a-side tournament in which Paeroa and district schools participated was commenced on the Paeroa Domain on Saturday, August 14 and concluded on Friday last, the Paeroa “Weka” team proving the winners who defeated Tirohia. a combined team which included ooys from Karangahake, by six points to 1 five. The referees who controlled the games were Messrs B. A. Kelly, R. Milne and S. Keutenius. At the conclusion the shield was presented to i the winning team by Mr R.
