CLEANING OF DRAIN

DECISION OF COUNCIL NOTICE SERVED LAST MARCH At the August meeting of the Coromandel County Council a letter was received from Mr A. G. T. (Bryan, solicitor, regarding the cleaning of a drain on Mr A. Reddy’s property and pointing out that his client, Mr H. W. Howell had instructed him to take the necessary steps to have the drain cleaned. The clerk, Mr J. H. Lucas, intimated that official notice had been served on Mr Reddy last March. It was proposed by Cr. T. E. Simpson, seconded by Mr C. C. Rae, “That appropriate action 'be taken to have the drain cleaned out in accordance with notice previously set.”—Carried.
