OLD-TIME DANCE
TO BE HELD IN PAEROA PATRIOTIC FUNDS TO BE AIDED At a recent meeting of an entertainment sub-committee of the Paeroa District Patriotic Committee it was resolved to hold an old-time dance in the Parish Hall on Monday, August 30. • The dance will be strictly old-time —square dances will be “called” by the M.C. —and good music is assured. A light supper will be provided and dress will be informal. If sufficient interest is shown it is proposed to repeat the effort each month with a view to running an old-time ball at a la’er date.
Officials of the Caledonian Society vn ry kindly offered the facilities ••uov'docl l.y their fortnightly praet’oe nights for those who dcs>e to Itnr’i the old-time dances, and also for these who wish to refurbish their knowledge on the subject.
