NO SPRING PRICES AS YET RECENT VALUES MAINTAINED The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., reports a very good yarding for this time of the year at their fortnightly pig sale held in Paeroa on Monday. Buttermilk buyers are not operating as yet, in
consequence of which, all classes of store pigs were not realising springprices. Fats and small store pigs sold at recent rates. Thejr quote.—Heavy baconers, £4 5s to £4 14s; medium, £3 15s to £4 4s; light, £3 5s to £3 12s; heavy porkers, £2 5s to £3 ss; medium, £2 10s to £2 14s: light. £2 4s to £2 10s; large stores, 35s to £2 ss; slips, 80s to 355; good weaners. 25s to 325; others, 15s to 225; sows with litters, £4 to £7 10s;' sows, close to profit, £3 to sgns.; boars Ign. to 2gns.
