REHABILITATION
HAURAKI PLAINS COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS TO BE CALLED At Wednesday’s meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council the chairman, Mr C. W. Parfitt, reported that while he had been in Wellington recently he had interviewed the secretary of the Rehabilitation Board regarding the setting-up of a Hauraki Plains Rehabilitation Committee. The secretary had advised how to secure nominations from the various organisations which were granted representation on such committees and forward same to Wellington when the matter would be considered by the board.
Mr D. G. McMillan was nominated to represent the council on the Hauraki Plains Rehabilitation Committee and rthe clerk was instructed to contact the other organisations, asking them to nominate representatives which would their be forwarded to’ Wellington for appointment. Mr C. W. Schultz was also nominated for the committee.
