HAURAKI LODGE

COROMANDEL ODDFELLOWS FORTNIGHTLY MEETING HELD The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Hauraki Lodge was held in the Lodge Room, Coromandel on Monday, August 2, the N.G., Sister J. Notman presiding. There was- a good attendance of members, and a hearty welcome was accorded to Bro. A. C. Hill, a member of this lodge who was spending a holiday in the district. Bro. Hill replied and expressed pleasure at the continued successful working of the lodge as was evidenced by the Membership Shield on the wall. satisfactory. The sick visitors’ reports proved satisfactory. Two new members were admitted into the Order with musical honours. After the business was concluded the Lodge prayer was read and the meeting was closed. • A splendid supper was served by the hostesses, Sisters B. Fisher, M. Jane, J. Notman and M. Keyte, after which dancing and games took place till midnight.
