MILITARY WEDDING

RICKETTS—WORTH / CEREMONY AT ST. ANDREW'S The wedding took place recently at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Paeroa, of Staff-Sergeant Claude Ricketts, elder son of Mr and: Mrs W. Ricketts of Hamilton, and Signaller Shirley Barbara Worth, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. Worth, of Waihi. The bride who was given away by her father was attired in her uniform of the W.A.A.C., while her bridesmaid Corporal Gladys Hale was similarly dressed. Corporal D. F. Sutherland of the Area Headquarters staff, Paeroa, assisted the bridegroom as best man. At the reception afterwards held at the Royal Mail Hotel the guests were received by Mrs Worth assisted by the mother of the bridegroom. Signaller Merle Martin and Pte. Jean Triis rendered solos at the church.
