Mr E. H. O’Meara Resigns The resignation of Mr E. H. O’Meara from the position of secretary was received by the Waikato 'Racing Club committee on Monday night, Mr O’Meara having indicated, that owing to continued ill-health he felt it necessary in the interests of the club to resign. Mr O’Meara has held the position of secretary to the club for the past 23 years. Farmers Meet The quarterly meeting of the Northern Thames Sub-'Provincial Executive of the New Zealand 'Farmer*’ Union was held in the Commercial Hotel, Paeroa, on Tuesday, the president, Mr S. E. Tye, L. E. Tye i(Kerepeehi), W. H. -Cheale, W. Hayes (Netherton), R. Baker, H. H. Hicks (Turua), G. A. Avery and H. 'R. Morrison (Hikutaia), R. L. Wilson, E. Jamieson (Matatoki), G. D. Sexton (Kaihe're) and the secretary, Mr A. T. Dow.
