START MADE

METERING WATER HEATERS , - THAMES VALLEY POWER BOARD “ A start was made with the metering of domestic water heaters, this week, and as already pointed out should take two or three , weeks to complete,” reported the manager, Mr R. Sprague, to Tuesday’s meeting of the Thames Valley Electric Power Board. The report added:— “It is unfortunate that the metering of dairy heaters did not synchronise with .this procedure. However, the additional expense will be labour and this commodity is very critical with the board at present.

“ The whole of our electrical staff is at present carrying out this change-over.”
