INTER-SCHOOL MATCH PLAYED
THAMES DEFEAT NGATEA Although their passing combination' was superior to the Thames High School Girls’ Basketball team 1 , Ngatea High School Girls were unable to better Thames’ good throwing accuracy, at a match played on the Thames School grounds on Wednesday. , Results were: — Thames High School A 19, v. Nga\ tea High School A, 15. Thames High School B, 13 v. Ngatea High School B, 10. Mr L. Hayes was referee. The Ngatea teams were:— A Team. —Goal, N. McAulay, Joy Hinton, B. Williams; centre, M. James, K. Neate, V. Williams; defence, April Paton, M. Crawford, June Hayes. B Team. —Goal, Gay Hinton, K. Bernqy, D. McClean; centre, N. Phelps, G. Dalgarno, F. Waite; defence, J. Coxhead, Royna Mears-, G. Dalgety.
