DANCE AT NGATEA

PATRIOTIC FUNDS AIDED ENJOYABLE . EVENING The monthly dance arranged by thd Ngatea Patriotic Committee was not as well attended as usual. The function was held on Monday night in the Ngatea Public Hall and Bert Kerby’s Collegians from Thames provided a nicely varied programme of both swing and rhythmic dance numbers. An after supper extra was played by Miss Dorothy Stitchbury. Miss E. Moore and Pte. G. Courtney were the winners of a Monte Carlo waltz competition. Visitors were present from most districts on the Hauraki Plains and also Thames. Mr E. R. Sherlock was M.C.
