Miss R. Fisher, Netherton, is spending her annual leave in Auckland.
Mrs Rawlins and her son Percy, of Kerepeehi,, are spending a few ,days in Thames.
Mrs Coad, Bay, spent the week-end as the guest of Mr and Mrs F. Bartley, Hauraki Hotel, Kerepeehi. Mrs Hall, Devonport, was the guest of Mr and Mrs F. Bartley, Hauraki Hotel, Kerepeehi, during the weekend.
Miss Bartley, Devonport, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr and Mrs Bartley, Kerepeehi. Mrs W. Kidd,. Kerepeehi, is relieving postmostress at the Netherton Post Office during the absence of Miss R. Fisher, who is on her annual leave.
Mrs Walwasser, Kawhia, is visiting her daughter, Mrs E. R. Stansell, of Kerepeehi. Mrs Davidson, of Auckland, spent the week-end as the guest of Mr and Mrs A. L. Fisher, of Kerepeehi.
Miss Betty Osbaldiston, of Ngatea, was a week-end visitor’ to Auckland.
Miss Avis Mouat, of Devonport, is spending a short holiday as the guest of Mr and Mrs E. J. Bartley, Hotel Ngatea. Miss June Neil has returned to Ngatea from a short stay at Te Puke, Mrs H. McLean, of Ngatea, is visiting the South Island, on holiday. Mrs A. North, who has 'been staying with Mrs W. F. North, of Te Aroha road, Paeroa, has left for Invercargill.
Mrs J. Stewart has returned + o Turua after spending a holiday in Auckland.
Mrs Hessey of Auckland, is at present visiting Mrs Bell, Waihou street, Turua.
Miss Ngaire Gordon of Waitakaruru is visiting her grandmother, Mrs Jenkins of St. Heliers, ‘Auckland.
Miss Maisie French of Waitakaruru recently, celebrated her coming-of-age by entertaining friends at her home at Pipiroa road. Being one of' the popular young people of the district she had many warm wishes, and the evening was a great success.
Mrs Pacey, of Canal road, Waitakaruru, has' returned, from a visit to Gisborne, where she represented the Women’s Institute as its delegate at the Dominion Council meeting.
Mrs W. Wallace of Waitakaruru has had as her guests for some time, Miss Robertson, who arrived by air from Sydney to meet her fiance, Sec-ond-Lieut. J. R. Spence, M.B.E. They have now left for Auckland where speedy preparations are being made for an early wedding. Lt. Spence is on furlong from the Middle East.
