SORTING WASTE

MISS GEORGINA NEWALL Miss Georgina Newall, daughter of the Governor-General, and Miss Nora Walton, have been working at the depot for the National Utilisation of Waste, Wellington. They sorted cloththing ready for dispatch to patriotic sewing guilds in country districts, and they helped with the darning of grey woollen pullovers for the Army. Lady Newall has always been specially interested in the work of the depot and had made a point of seeing that someone should represent her in her absence overseas.
