MEETING AT KEREPEEHI

THANKS FOR GIFT PARCELS

The monthly meeting 1 of the Kerepeehi Branch of the Women’s Division was held in Kerepeehi Hall on the afternoon of July 21. Mrs A. L. Fisher presided. The creed was read.. Members stood in silence in sympathy with Mrs I. Poland in the loss of her father. Letters of thanks for parcels received were read from Ptes. L. D. Clark, A. R. Ryan, Gnrs. A. J. Braithwaite, L.A.C. J. L. Smith, Pacific Section; Dvrs. L. Burling and M. Pearce, Middle East. It was decided to send cakes at the end of this month. The secretary reported a good attendance at card evenings, the proceeds of which are to help with postage on parcels. Donations to the parcels fund were received from the following:—Mr and Mrs Burling; Mesdames H. Jameson, Forbes and M. Ryan.
