DELIGHTFUL PARTY
21ST. BIRTHDAY CELEBRATED. MISS THELMA DAVIS HONOURED In order to celebrate the coming-of-age of Thelma Davis of Kaihere a delightful party was held at Milne and Choyce’s tea room on Thursday last. The table looked very gay with attractive decorations and a cake artistically designed. The guests were received by Thelma who looked very charming in a tailored navy and white costume with a shoulder spray of blue iris and maiden-hair fem and by Mrs McDermott who acted as hostess. The guests presented her with the key and wished her every happiness and success. Those present were Misses Ngaire Lovie, Dawn Poole, Judy Baxter, Rebe Sealy, Joy Graham, Barbara Lynch and Myra Powell. ' Congratulations were received on the day from Thelma’s sister Joyce who is serving with the R.A.F. in England.
