Huston went on to give a more detailed account of the actions in which the New Zealand Division took part

Huston also pictured for the meeting the difficulties of campaigning in the desert and a little of the hardships with which the men contended in such a plucky manner. After his lecture Sgt. Huston kindly answered a number of questions. Mrs T. Pacey, on behalf of institute members and Mr Hinton on behalf of the senior scho,ol pupils who were present thanked Sgt. Huston for his excellent address which was greatly appreciated by all. The meeting then closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
