Practical Appreciation

Appreciation of the services of the St. John Ambulance Association is expressed in a letter received by the secretary of the association, Mr C. H. Kersley, from an old age pensioner living in St. Albans. On May 28 he was involved in an accident and was conveyed to hospital in a St. John ambulance. He obtained the ambulance to transport him to his home, and on two subsequent occasions was taken back to hospital. With his letter the man enclosed three £1 Liberty bonds.
