NATIONAL PARTY
MEETING HELD AT NGATEA election of officers A meeting of the Ngatea Branch of the New Zealand National Party was held at Ngatea on Friday evening last, Mt C. W. Parfitt, presiding. A paper on the aims and objects of the National Party was read by the electorates secretary, Mr A. G. Davis who also submitted the remits to be discussed at the Dominion Conference that is to be held later in the month. The following officers were elected:— Chairman, Mr F. E. Hammond; secretary, Mr H. E. Cole; committee, Mrs Hammond, Miss Nelson, Messrs Tye, Motion, Vowles, Barriball, F. Wallace, Smallfield.
