WANTED ON PLAINS
REHABILITATION COMMITTEE COUNTY COUNCIL DECISION At the July meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council, Mr A. S. Sutherland, M.P. for Hauraki wrote in reply to an enquiry from the council advising that a Rehabilitation Committee would be set up on the Hauraki Plains County area. After some discussion during which members expressed the opinion that the question of rehabilitation w-as noc 'being- handled satisfactorily it was decided on the motion of Cr. D. G. McMillan, seconded 'by Cr. W. H. Cheale, that the- council apply to have a rehabilitation committee set up on the Hauraki Plains.
