WHITE CUP RUGBY MATCH THAMES WIN 32 POINTS TO FIVE A rugby match played for the White Cup on the Coromandel Domain between a Thames representative team and a Coromandel-Kennedy Bay team resulted in an easy win for the visitors by 32 points to five. For a considerable portion of the first half the local team had the visitors on the defensive, hut poor handling and over-eagerness spoilt many chances that were offering. In the second spell fitness started to tell and the visitors, playing'an attractive open game outclassed their opponents and steadily added to their score. Although played under greasy conditions the visiting backs handled the ball well and some of the passing rushes and finishing-off movements evoked applause from a fair attendance of spectators present. A pleasing feature of the game was the very friendly spirit shown by the members of the respective teams. The following was the CoromandelKennedy Bay team Coromandel.—W. Savage (chpt.); R. Ngapo, J. Kuha/ G. McNeil; B, Flavelle, Wikaira; A. Hamilton; 11. Dobbs, 'P. Sweeney, E. Christensen, Mararoa, G. Thwaites, Simon, Wink Savage, R, Bright. Emergencies: E. Hale, C. Pickering, F. Davies, T.
