The competition, which was held recently, was for all export cheese graded at Auckland from October 1, 1942, to April 30, 1943. Mr McKenzie’s company attained third position in the competition, with an average grade of 92.940. Mr J. T. Barr, of the Cambridge Dairy Company (93.175) was first and Mr I. Peebles, of the Bruntwood Dairy Company (93.004) was second. “The narrow margin of 0.227 points between youi* average grade and that of Mr Barr, the successful competitor, is an indication of the close scoring of the three highest average grades,” said Mr Henry.
