GROWTH PROLIFIC
RAGWORT IN OHINEMURI PROPERTY OWNERS CONCERNED That in most parts of the county the ragwort growth promises to be very prolific this coming season was reported by the engineer, Mr L. E. Shaw to Wednesday’s meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council. The report read as follows:— “With an endeavour to try and get gorse cleared from road frontages, a number of ratepayers have been interviewed and in nearly every case have promised to do their best to get the clearing done. “In most parts of the county the growth of ragwort promises to be very prolific this coming season, and property owners in these affected areas are very concerned as to how •they are going to deal with it if material is not made available.
