DEATH OF MR PIERCE GRACE FORMER COUNTY CHAIRMAN The death occurred at Auckland on Wednesday, July 14, of a very old and highly respected resident of Waitekauri, Mr Pierce Qrace, aged. 76 years The late Mr Grace was for many years a’ public figure in the district, especially in the gold mining industry. From 1902 to 1911 and from 1910 to 1922, the late Mr Grace was a member of the Ohinemuri County Council, representing the Waitekauri Riding, being county chairman from 1908 to 19.11 and from 1916 to 1020. For a period he served on the Thames Valley Electric Power Board. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mesdames Gavin, Flower and! Brokenshire. The funeral took place at the Waikumete Cemetery, on Thursday.
