Mackaytown Poultry Farm The Ohinemuri County Council at its meeting on Wednesday approved the application of Mi' J. Milroy, Mackaytown, for a water connection to his poultry sheds, it being stated that the poultry farm consisted of 1500 to 1600 birds. Good Progress / “The Public'Works Department’s dredge is making good progress with the improvements to the .Kurere drain and the work is likely to be completed within the next four weeks,” reported the engineer, Mr L. E. Shaw, to the July meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council. Rain Affecting Roads * “All roads in the Waihi area, through shortage of staff are showing the effect of the recent heavy rain,” reported the engineer, Mr L. E.
