PLUNKET BALL
FUNCTION AT NGATEA WEATHER MARS EVENING EFFECT ON ATTENDANCE Inclement weather affected the attendance at the Ngatea Plunket Ball which was held in the Ngatea Public Hall on Monday evening. The Thames Collegians provided a varied and popular programme of old-time and modern dance numbers, and Miss P. Johnson supplied the after-supper extra. A novelty dance was won by Miss E. Laurich and Mr M. Burt and the Monte Carlo prizes were awarded to Miss U. Douglas and Mr J. Thomas Hodgson.'
