GRAND MILITARY BALL

BIG WELCOME AT NETHERTON FUNCTION TUESDAY EVENING All returned men of the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force are invited to attend the Grand Military Ball to be held in the Netherton Hall on Tuesday, July 20 as guests of the committee. The function which has been organised by the Netherton Home Guard will be an official welcome from the district to all members of the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force who have returned to New Zealand' and all proceeds from the function will be donated to the 1943 All Purposes Patrotic Appeal. The Melody Makers’ Orchestra has been engaged to supply the music and the Grand March will open proceedat 8.15 p.m. Cards will be provided for non-dancers. A bus will leave the Transport Office, Paeroa at 7.45 p.m., returning after the dance. Admission will be, ladies 2s fid, men 3s, with double ss.
