BRIDGE MAINTENANCE
WORK IN OHINEMURI COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPT. ENQUIRY Local body activities in the matter of bridge maintenance and renewal came up for. consideration at the Ohinemuri County Council’s meeting on Wednesday. The Public Works Department advised that the Main Highways Board had asked county-councils for;B,.tentative programme of bridge reconstruction as visualised to cover the next five years and the Ohinemuri council was asked to submit a schedule of bridges considered essential in its area over that period, indicating the order and urgency. I The letter was received and an appropriate reply was directed to be i sent.
