Building On The Plains Building permits issued by the Hauraki Plains County Council during June, amounted to £328 18s 6d, reported the county engineer, Mr J. C. Plains County Council The , July meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council was held at Ngatea on Wednesday, the chairman, Mr C. W. Parfitt, presiding. Others present were Messrs J. F.,Mayn, D. G. McMillan, W. H. Cheale; C. W. Schultz, F. Pinchess, A. H. Sutton, J. W. Neate, the county clerk, Mr E. A. Mahoney, and the county engineer, Mr J. C. Clarke. Leave of absence-was granted Mr W. E. Hale. Hauraki United Drainage The monthly meeting of the Hauraki United Drainage Board was held at Turua on Thursday, the chairman, Mr C. K. Fox, presiding. Others present were Messrs D. G. McMillan, Roy Green, R. E. Tye, R. B. Madgwick, C. W. Schultz and the clerk, Mr J. E. Green. Leave of absence was granted Mr E. B. Hill.
