4, MISS Rz LANDMAN HONOURED SUNDAY SCHOOL FUNCTION ■ i The pupils of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Sunday School met on Sunday to make a presentation to Miss R. Landman who is shortly leaving the district. After lesson the pupils were assembled under their teachers in the church. Mr J. H. Mclntyre, the superintendent, in making the presentation, spoke highly of the way in which Miss Landman had helped in the work. She had worked hard and had earned the devotion of her pupils, and, he added, all were extremely sorry to see her leave. In conclusion, he-asked her to accept the gifts as a token of their high esteem. The gifts carried with them the best regards and wishes of the members of the Sunday School. Three small pupils, Margaret Thorp, Elizabeth Grant and Mary MacDonell, handed the presents to Miss Landman who replied and asked that every child should give their help to their teachers who were trying to explain the teachings and works of God io the children. In conclusion she thanked all for their gifts.
