SCHOOL AT MATATOKI

EARLY COMPLETION EXPECTED BUILDING MOVED FROM KERITA For a considerable time Mr James Thorn, M.P., has been negotiating with the Minister of Education and the Auckland Education Board for the removal of the vacant school building at Kerita to Matatoki, where the school accommodation has been most unsatisfactory. Many difficulties have had to be overcome, but a tender for the removal of the building was recently accepted - by the board, and a portion of it is now on the site at Matatoki. The concrete foundations have been finished, and the project should' be completed in about three weeks.
